Your J is Currently Virtual... Come and See...
Dear Springfield JCC Families,

We hope that you and your loved ones are adhering to the advice of our health care professionals and all are staying safe and healthy. While we each do our part, know that the J is committed to staying connected through our Virtual J platform .

The J's Online Auction, Oybay !, has officially begun and continues through Sunday, April 5, 10:00 pm EST. By joining us and spreading the word about  Oybay , we can both support 200+ local businesses and help YOUR J raise much needed funds during this unprecedented time.

If you have purchased wine recently through the Springfield JCC, please see an important message below.

Kosher for Passover wine was delivered this past week by the J's supplier. Through the kindness of volunteers, we will start to deliver purchases directly to your homes in the Longmeadow, East Longmeadow and Springfield areas beginning around April 1st. Some orders are missing wine and we expect to receive an additional shipment during the middle of the week so that we can complete your orders, if possible. Should your order still not be complete, we will be providing you with a refund as soon as we have the ability to process them.

If you live outside of the above areas, please email Bev Nadler to arrange a date and time for your pickup at the J. Our goal is for you to receive your order in time for Passover, and although your Passover plans may be altered, hopefully you will be able to celebrate the holiday in a meaningful way. If you are sheltering in place outside of the state, please let us know and we will hold your order until you return. Thank you for your support and wishing all of you a Happy Passover and Happy Easter.
The Pioneer Valley Jewish Film Festival is happy to share with you 10 wonderful hits from recent PVJFFs . Thanks to a partnership with Menemsha Films, a distributor that our festival works with throughout the year, these films can be rented or purchased for a discount on iTunes and Amazon Prime Video.

Wendy Libowitz spoke at the J in April, 2019 in a program called Finding Family: Searching for Answers.  Wendy was interviewed by a podcaster named Damon Davis for his show Who Am I Really. The focus of his podcast is to interview adoptees who have searched and reunited with biological family. Here is a link to listen to Wendy's episode.
Stay in your home, support local businesses and YOUR J all at the same time. Oybay, our online auction will go on as originally scheduled Sunday, March 29 (8:00 am EST) through Sunday April 5 (10:00 pm EST). Visit biddingforgood/SpringfieldJCC for details.
