This is just the best thing ever!

I am so excited to join the Board of Trustees at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte. Joining this board will be very rewarding and allow me to merge my career history with the vision we have at United Way of Charlotte County for a community where all citizens achieve their potential through education, financial stability and healthy lives.
Thank you!
๏ปฟYear after year, Season of Sharing covers crucial expenses for basic needs such as rental or mortgage assistance and utility bills to help families and individuals in our region get back on their feet following an unforeseen crisis. In celebration of The Patterson Foundationโ€™s decade of continuous support for the annual campaign, it has awarded United Way of Charlotte County (UWCC) a one-time honorarium for our dedicated role in connecting Season of Sharing recipients in Charlotte County with these much-needed funds from community donors.
Limited Edition Cookbook
Knowing how important family meals are for encouraging bonding and building memories, Women United collaborated on a cookbook of their favorite family recipes dedicated to our Kids Thrive mothers. This book contains special thoughts, notes and quotes from women for women and their families. Included are over 75 recipes for breakfast, side dishes, seafood, main course, desserts and snacks. It also includes some holiday favorites. Thank you to our Women United members, sponsors and cookbook sponsors. This project would not be possible without Panther Hollow Dental Lodge and WrightWay Emergency Services! Your $15 donation per cookbook helps us continue empowering Kids Thrive mothers to raise healthy children.
Donate to Copperfish Books Food Drive
We've all seen the images on TV: folks waiting in car lines for hours to pick up just a few daysโ€™ worth of free food. Sadly, food insecurity is a problem right here in Charlotte County for many families. These families are our friends and neighbors, and we want to help. Copperfish Books is holding a food drive now through Feb. 14. Your donation of non-perishable food (no glass, please) and hygiene products will make an impact on local families. All items collected will be distributed to families that participate in UWCC's Charlotte County Reads program.
