We are releasing this issue over the Presidents' Day weekend, so I hope this finds you enjoying the holiday period. Classes will resume as normal Tuesday morning.
We have several special events scheduled for the week ahead including The Scholastic Book Fair and Friday's Knight at the Carnival and Dance. Books always make great gifts throughout the year, so please consider visiting the Book Fair (details and the online option below). The Book Fair will run through next Friday. As for Friday's Knight Carnival and Dance, this is another quality PTSA led production which the students are looking forward to. They are seeking a hand with a few donations (list below), so if you might be able to contribute in some way, the help would be most appreciated!
Finally, good luck to our Knight basketball teams as they have key games coming up Wednesday away at Walker Middle School -
season record. They are very well coached and have been playing great basketball. This is their final regular season game of the year.
Thank you for looking over this latest edition.

Our Knight basketball teams were victorious this week after defeating Freedom and South Creek! We are extremely proud of our teams as they are one game away from finishing out the regular season with winning records.
The girls are currently undefeated with a record of 6-0 and our gentlemen are 5-1. Thank you to all of the fans that came out and supported our teams on 8th Grade Night to make it a memorable one for all involved.

Post Literacy Week Reminders
Florida Literacy Week ended January 31, 2020 but reading habits should still continue for a lifetime. The love of reading begins at home; create a "home library" for your family to access. Parents can also create a "reading nook" in the home where a child can read in different kinds of books such as novels, biographies and informational content. Our students enjoyed the week with door decorating contests, bookmark content and reading the most minutes.
