2020-2021 Major Dates Calendar
We are excited to announce and share with optimism the release of the 2020-2021 Major Dates Calendar. Upon review, we hope that you will take the time to notice that many, if not all traditional events, remain on the schedule. Members of the administration team and the CSS faculty have invested a great deal of time and energy into preserving the integrity of our schedule with a particular focus on building school culture throughout the year. It is important that we do not jump to any conclusions at this time as to what the start of the school year will look like. We do know that we welcome a physical return to campus, but close adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines will determine if a change in the course of action is warranted. As a result, planning for the 2020-2021 school year is ongoing and requires the school to respond with agility, grace, and a heavy dose of patience.

Upper School Course Requests & Curriculum Guide for 2020-2021
One of the positives of this pandemic and the transition to e-Learning has been the development of a vast array of tools to facilitate tasks online. At the start of the 2019-2020 school year, RENWEB was purchased by FACTS and is now the current host to both our Student Information Systems (SIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

As of today, students in the Upper School may select the courses they are interested in taking for the 2020-2021 school year.  To aid in this process, access the 2020-2021 Curriculum Guide by clicking here.

This is phase one of a multi-phase process that will result in a personalized student schedule for next year. Please note, that at this stage, students are merely selecting courses that they are interested in taking or are required to take based on the grade they will be entering. In doing so, the school will be able to use technology to recognize and adjust potential conflicts.

To begin the process, students may watch a screencast through the link below on how to access their course request forms.

Students will need to log into FACTS and access their student portal. Among the menu options is "Course Requests," which directs students to a message and instructions. Please read instructions carefully and understand that at this time they are simply selecting courses of interest, then select from a menu of courses organized by discipline.

The window for selecting courses will be open until 11:59 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2020.

Once closed, all student selections will be compiled in order to build individual schedules for students. Schedules will be released during the week of June 1. For any questions about scheduling, or a review of the transcripts, please email Associate Head of School Sam Gaudet at  [email protected].

2021 Experience-Centered Seminars
ECSs for 2021 are still being fine-tuned, and a full slate of offerings will be available in the fall.
