The Coronavirus and Cancer Care

Cancer Care remains fully committed to providing help and hope to anyone affected by cancer as we rise to the challenges of the coronavirus. We are offering all of our support services by telephone and online as our master's-prepared oncology social workers are working hard to address the emotional, practical and financial concerns of our clients during these difficult times.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have funds dedicated to those impacted by COVID-19 and the Cancer Care Co-Payment Assistance Foundation has opened funds for a range of specific diagnoses.

In the meantime, we presented a Connect Education Workshop on The New Coronavirus (COVID-19): Guidelines for People Coping With Cancer, now available as a podcast, and have a follow-up planned for April 20, which is now available for free registration.

We have also released fact sheets on topics related to caring and coping, including:
All of these resources and more are provided entirely free to those impacted by a cancer diagnosis. For more, please look at our landing page dedicated entirely to the coronavirus pandemic and for more information about Cancer Care, visit cancercare.org.
