Tupelo Music Hall in Derry

Good morning everyone,

Today’s the day we start announcing our Drive-In shows! The Series will begin the first weekend of May with FOREIGNERS JOURNEY for two days with this fantastic band paying tribute to the music of two iconic rock bands: Foreigner and Journey! We will be staying outdoors until artists on our schedule start touring and we can safely and legally hold concerts indoors at a capacity that allows us to host the bigger shows we are known for having. In the meantime, my heart is beating faster as we get closer to having shows again!

Regarding the Drive-In shows, we don’t plan on making many changes to the series last year. I did receive an email from a patron last week, however, asking if we would be able to rent chairs to patrons who arrive in motorcycles. Motorcycles take up a small amount of space and are easy to park because everyone can see past them. For this reason, we will be making chairs available to patrons who bring a motorcycle but don’t want to carry chairs with them. We won’t be renting them, however. If you come in on a motorcycle and need chairs, simply tell the folks checking you in and we will gladly bring them to you.

So... let’s get through the rest of the Winter so we can start having live music again! We will be adding shows every week so keep an eye on our weekly newsletter.

The music and energy of two legendary stadium rock bands comes together in one electrifying show! - (Listen/Watch)

May 7 TRUFFLE (6pm show)
Celebrating 30 years as a band in 2016 (and now 35 in 2021), Truffle are passionate players and entertainers who are in it for the long haul; it’s what they do and who they are! Their travels have taken them to all but ten states in the US; and now tour the New England region constantly. The ongoing list of international acts they have supported is huge: Dave Matthews Band, Little Feat, Bill Payne, Phish, The Band, Blues Traveler, The Radiators, Buckwheat Zydeco, Spin Doctors, Arlo Guthrie, Merl Saunders, Baba Ulatundje, New Riders Widespread panic and Toots and the Maytalls. They have released five full length albums, as well as numerous compilations culminating in their “30th Bandiversary Double Bootleg” (2016) Roots, and Soul music with strong songwriting makes for a truly unique Truffle sound all their own. - (Listen)

May 8 BROKEN ARROW (1pm & 4pm shows)
Broken Arrow performs the music of Neil Young, featuring both the rockin’ electric Crazy Horse tunes and the more acoustic, pedal steel driven country rock material. The band delivers these classic songs faithfully while taking them out on some jamming excursions and tastefully tweaking some of the arrangements. Joe Mass nails the Neil vocals perfectly and the harmonies are spot on. These guys always have audiences on their feet singing along and demanding encores at every show. - (Listen)

May 15 & 16 TUSK (1pm & 4pm shows both days)
Tusk is the number one Tribute to Fleetwood Mac in the world, bar none. No wigs, no backing tracks, no gimmicks, just five musicians recreating the music of Fleetwood Mac to perfection with note for note renditions that no other Fleetwood Mac tribute on the touring scene today can come close to duplicating.

Tusk covers all the great hits of Fleetwood Mac, which has featured the talents of Mick Fleetwood, Christine and John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and others over the years. The five seasoned, well-respected musicians comprising Tusk have been making music together in various combinations and styles, in original outfits and in cover bands, for over twenty-five years. It seemed only fitting that they should come together to form the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute, and pay homage to a group that dominated the charts during the band members’ formative years. Authentic-sounding and always respectful, Tusk leaves no stone unturned in replicating the sounds of one of the world’s best-loved, top-selling bands. - (Listen)
