Dear GOA members,

We have received several questions from our members regarding personal protective equipment, telehealth resources and more. While many of you may have your sources for PPE, the GOA and I found a few sources we would like to share with the membership. We have worked to provide fair and well-researched sources for everyone and are committed to maintaining transparency in a time of uncertainty.

The GOA has compiled a list of PPE vendors on the  GOA COVID-19 Resources page . Items to note are N95 masks and larger slit lamp microscope shields provided form various sources. As a means to ensure trustworthy websites and orders, I have personally ordered from places to verify products would be delivered.

Next, some members may be interested in performing telemedicine during this time to handle triage and patient care. While there are several different platforms available, the GOA would like to inform members of a tested, free telemedicine platform called  Doxy.me . Doxy.me offers both free and paid services. It is a HIPPA compliant platform where doctors can conference with their patients. The GOA would also like to notify members of a pharmaceutical company (that we are not partnered with) called ImprimisRx . ImprimisRx is a compounding pharmacy that ships medications to patients directly and is currently offering the clinical version of Doxy.me for free. ImprimisRx reached out to doctors previously via email. If you missed the email, then you can easily create an account on their website and use the tabs at the top find "Telemed Registration" to sign up for your free Doxy.me clinical version account.

Please continue to check the GOA COVID-19 Information Center daily, so you do not miss any updates or newly added resources.

Providing you with the education, information and resources you need to serve your patients remains our number one priority. The GOA is committed to providing you with vital information during this time of uncertainty.

Thank you for all that you are doing for your patients, for your community, and for our profession during this public health emergency. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

Be safe out there everyone,
