As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop and in accordance with  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention  (CDC) and the  Virginia Department of Health  (VDH) recommendations and guidelines, Chesterfield County will be announcing postponements, cancellations and closings. FY2021 Proposed Budget Community Meetings Go Virtual

Due to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendation on limiting the potential spread of the coronavirus known as COVID-19 in communities, Chesterfield announced last week that all upcoming community meetings to discuss the proposed FY2021 budget will be converted to Facebook Live in lieu of being held in-person. Join Deputy County Administrator Matt Harris, along with Board of Supervisor and School Board representatives, for several Facebook Live community meetings between March 18-24 to discuss the county’s proposed FY2021 budget.

You can submit your questions or comments before each Facebook Live by filling out the questionnaire form at https://www.chesterfield.gov/budgetfeedback . Or, feel free to submit them during the Facebook Live session once the event is launched. Need a refresher? Citizen Comment on FY2021 Proposed Budget Public Hearings for Wednesday, March 25

Wednesday, March 25 has been advertised for the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors to hold five public hearings on the following:  Proposed changes to Water/Wastewater Utility Fees Proposed Tax Rates for 2020 Community Development Block Grant and HOME Annual Plan Proposed FY2021-FY2025 Capital Improvement Program Proposed FY2021 Budget Due to ongoing public health concerns related to COVID-19, Chesterfield County is encouraging citizens to  provide comments online . Comments submitted via this format will be collected and distributed to all Board of Supervisors members and published with the minutes of the March 25 Board of Supervisors meeting.  Comments will be collected from noon on Tuesday, March 17 through noon on Wednesday, March 25.
