CITY FACILITIES REOPENING PLAN
Please note, with the fluid nature of the ongoing emergency, some dates listed below are subject to change.
Playground equipment, July 24 | Residents should note playground equipment will not be sanitized.
Port Weller Community Centre, July 27 | Drop in recreational activities and modified programming.
St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre, July 28 | Reservations required, call 905.984.8880 to book your time.
Happy Rolph's Animal Farm washrooms, July 31 | Animals will not return this year to the farm.
Russell Avenue Community Centre, Aug. 22 | Modified programming.
Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre, Aug. 22.
St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre | Aug. 31 - leisure and lane swimming only.
Sept. 21 - Swim lessons, fitness classes and rentals may resume.

MANDATORY MASKS BY-LAW
St. Catharines by-law requires owners and/or operators of enclosed public spaces, to require mask use by those entering their establishments, in addition to the provision of hand sanitizer at entrances.

CULTURE DAYS | FREE
Online & Socially Distanced Family-Friendly Arts & Culture Activities
Mark your Calendars: September 25 to October 25, 2020
Activities will be listed online in advance of the event.
In 2020 the event has been expanded to one month and activities will be led either online or in-person with social distancing and enhanced cleaning considerations. Participants are given the opportunity to get creative, get messy, engage with performances, make art and experience culture! IN-PERSON SOCIALLY DISTANCED ACTIVITIES: Collaborative murals, puppet creation, painting, portrait drawing, illustration and textiles/knitting. DIGITAL ACTIVITIES: Drama games, improv, community play development, mixed media art, steel drum music and shadow puppets. The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre, Suitcase in Point Theatre Company, and the TD Niagara Jazz festival will each present a series of online performances and the St. Catharines Museum will present a series of virtual lectures. Special interest groups are also presenting activities (online or in-person) that address Social Diversity & Inclusion, feature LGBTQ2+ artists, and explore Cultural Traditions by providing teachings, art-making and music experiences.
We look forward to celebrating Culture Days with you! Culture Days is a Canada-wide celebration that is the largest-ever public participation campaign undertaken by the arts and cultural community in this country. Culture Days features FREE hands-on activities that invite the public to participate in the "behind-the-scenes" experiences.

CELEBRATION OF NATIONS | VIRTUAL FESTIVAL
September 11 to 13, 2020
On Friday 11 September, Celebration of Nations will begin virtually with a profound short film entitled Starborn that captures the essence of our current existence. The virtual festival will feature livestreams of Blood Water Earth by renowned Indigenous creator Santee Smith of Kaha:wi Dance Theatre. Indigenous JUNO Award winners LeE HARVey OsMOND (aka Tom Wilson), Celeigh Cardinal and 2020 Polaris Music Prize shortlisted artist Lido Pimienta are set to share livestream performances. Presentations and teachings will centre on the 2020 theme of Mighty Niagara and the Great Lakes Watershed. The Indigenous Niagara Living Museum Tour, an online experience, will transport visitors to several significant cultural and historical Indigenous locations within the region.
