Helpful Resources for Small Business Owners, Residential Utility Customers

We know the uncertainty of this challenging time is frustrating and unsettling. During the current COVID-19 State of Emergency, we are in direct contact with Miami-Dade County and the State of Florida to offer important information and resources to help business owners and residents.

Florida Help for Small Business Owners
Emergency Bridge Loan Program

Governor Ron DeSantis has activated the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program to support small businesses impacted by COVID-19. The bridge loan program will provide short-term, interest-free loans to small businesses that experienced economic injury from COVID-19.

S mall business owners with two to 100 employees located in Florida affected by COVID-19 can apply for short-term loans up to $50,000. These loans are interest-free for up to one year and are designed to bridge the gap to either federal SBA loans or commercially available loans.

Small Business Guidance and Loan Resources

What guidelines should small business owners follow to keep themselves and their employees healthy and safe? What resources are available to gain access to capital? The U.S. Small Business Administration has produced this comprehensive guide to both.
