Dear LNC ES Parents,

We are SO excited to have your children back in the building with us! We were smiling big under our masks last week as we welcomed our kindergarten to four day/week in-person learning and now today, our 1st grade students!

As we are now in our phased-in plan A, we want to start preparing you for a longer carpool line and give you some tips to help make the process more efficient. Beginning now, please have your child ready to exit their car as soon as you pull up under the overhang at the front of the building (shoes on, breakfast done, goodbye kisses given, hat/gloves on, etc.) Also, most of our students are able to open their car door and get out of their car independently. Please do not feel that you must wait for a staff member to open the car door. They are there to assist our youngest students. Please know that we do take temperatures as soon as your children enter the building.

All of this should make the morning carpool line go much faster while still keeping our students safe. Lastly, please remember that if you arrive on campus after 8:30 AM, your child is tardy and you will need to park in our parking lot, walk your child to the main office, and sign them in.

See you in carpool!

Sincerely,

Ms. Holland, Ms. Latza, and Ms. Crane
