Educator of the Year 2018 is Friday!
The 43rd Kane County Educator of the Year Awards is this Friday, May 4th! The excitement is building and the ROE is hard at work preparing for big night. By the end of the evening, one of the 41 nominees will be crowned Kane County Educator of the Year!

Is Your Licensure Up For Renewal This Year?
For the 2018 Renewal Period, ISBE has been staggering renewal periods for educators according to licensure type due to a large amount of licenses up for renewal. All licensure types with an expiration date of 6/30/2018 are now eligible for renewal.

If your license is eligible for renewal, you must renew it by August 31,2018. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the Kane ROE at 630-232-5955 or hello@kaneroe.org
Join Illinois Online Academy's Online Summer Book Study
Want to be part of a unique professional learning opportunity and receive PD hours? Join Illinois Online Academy's  online book study of "The Unlearning Leader" by local superintendents Michael Lubelfeld and Nick Polyak!

Back by popular demand, the online book club will be a four week study starting on June 4th and ending July 2nd. Each week, participants will participate in an online assignment through Illinois Online Academy. Participants will receive 8 PD hours from participating in the book club. The cost to join the book club and receive the PD hours is $20 and you must register before May 29, 2018.
