Roslyn Public Schools
SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
January 5, 2021

Dear Roslyn Families,

Please be advised that a staff member at Harbor Hill Elementary School and a staff member at Roslyn High School have tested positive for COVID-19. Both individuals were last in the buildings on January 4, 2021.

At this time, our internal contact tracing has been completed and any potential close contacts have been notified. It has been determined that this case does not warrant a school closure at either building. As always, our staff conducted a thorough cleaning of the building yesterday and will continue to do so going forward.

We are presently working with the Nassau County Department of Health to help them complete their external contact tracing investigation, and we will continue to take all necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our school community.

With COVID-19 cases on the rise, please continue to follow local health guidelines to keep
yourself, your families, and our community healthy and safe.

Sincerely,

Allison Brown
Superintendent of Schools
