The Lakeside gates will NOT be in operation Monday, Aug. 31 through Thursday, Sept. 3. Therefore, there will be free admission and parking with limited programming, services and recreational opportunities. View additional hours of operation on the app.

If you don't have a Season Chautauqua Pass, there's a $5 fee. Pay by cash or credit card upon arrival for your reserved timeslot.

If you don't have a Season Chautauqua Pass, there's a fee: $5 for age 13 & older, $3 for ages 3-12; and free for age 2 & under. Pay by cash or credit card upon arrival for your reserved timeslot.

The Drowsy Lads are known for their spirited, original bluegrass compositions and traditional Irish music.

The Hotsie Totsies
6 p.m., Sunday
Sunday's evening music features The Hotsie Totsies, a duo featuring musicians Lisa Biales and Laurie Traveline Neyer.

German Dinner
4-7 p.m., Friday
Kick-off Oktoberfest in Lakeside by joining Ward Catering as they offer a German-inspired dinner at Wesley Lodge. All meals are made to order and boxed for takeout. To pre-order, call (419) 357-5482.

LHS Recycle Sale
Friday-Monday
The early bird LHS Recycle Sale starts at 6-8 p.m. Friday outside South Auditorium ($5 admission for this day to attend the sale). Items for the sale include housewares, linens, furniture and lawn equipment.

Michael Shirtz
7 p.m., Friday
Lakeside welcomes the Michael Shirtz. Shirtz is known for his versatility with jazz, contemporary and classical music. The trio for the evening concert features Shirtz, Dwight Bailey and Reggie Jackson.

Submit recipes for Lakeside Cookbook

|
|
The Lakeside Women’s Club (LWC) is compiling a Lakeside Cookbook. Submit your favorite family recipes, vintage recipes from years past, kids’ craft ideas or family traditions. Email your name, phone number, recipe/idea/tradition to Sally DePerro at sallydeperro@hotmail.com or Mame Drackett at mame@drackett.cc. The deadline to submit is Monday, Sept. 7.

The bi-weekly Farmers' Market has relocated to the greenspace around the Lakeside Schoolhouse to practice safe social distancing. View hours and safety protocols.

This evening service has relocated to the Steele Memorial Bandstand to practice safe social distancing. Features praise music and traditional hymns with John and Bonnie Wilkie.

This program will be held at the Steele Memorial Bandstand and recorded and uploaded later in the day to our website and YouTube page. The Rev. Dr. Andrew Forrest's theme for the week is “Love Goes First.”

1:30 p.m. Tuesday
Join the Lakeside Women’s Club as members share how they stayed healthy and entertained while quarantined. The LWC will also install new officers. This program will be livestreamed to the LWC Facebook.

Lakeside Photo Contest 2020

|
|
|
Lakesiders of all ages are invited to submit photos to be featured in the 2021 Calendar of Events brochure, as well as Lakeside's social media pages, website, The Front Porch blog, Lakesider, advertisements, etc.

Ward Catering offers a fresh menu of pre-ordered to-go meals every Thursday. Pre-order by 4 p.m. Wednesday. All meals are individually packaged as “heat-and-eat” refrigerated boxes. Limited quantities available.

Children's Church Celebration
9:30 a.m., Sunday
The Children’s Church Celebration will begin with an outdoor processional at the conclusion of the Dockside Worship Service (approximately 9:30 a.m. at the Steele Memorial Bandstand) and proceed down Kenton Row and Cedar Avenue to Bradley Temple.
