Dear District 86 Community, 

We have been informed that Governor Pritzker and President Trump may be making announcements this afternoon that will impact the status of schools in the face of the circumstances surrounding COVID-19. However, District 86, in unity with the DuPage Regional Office of Education (ROE) and the other schools in the county, have made the decision to close our schools at the end of the day today (March 13). We will implement our e-learning plan from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27. We will then proceed with spring break as planned. All after-school events and activities (athletics, clubs, organizations, etc.) will be canceled during this time. We will provide more detailed information about our plans for the next few weeks later today and tomorrow.
