First Year or Transfer Students
If your student is a first year or transfer student they will need to complete the New Student Checklist. They will also need to attend required Thunder U events on January 8th. See schedule below.
Is your student looking for housing?

Does your student need help with finances?
Students can reach out to financialwellness@suu.edu to schedule a one-on-one appointment.
Some of the services they provide:

Tutoring Center
The Tutoring Center is a free resource for students, located in the center of campus in the Electronic Learning Center, room 204. They offer drop in tutoring and online tutoring. They can help connect students with private tutors. Check out their study tips and tutor schedules here. Tutoring Center hours are:
Monday- Thursday, 9 am-7 pm
Friday, 9 am- 5 pm

Professor Office Hours
Students are encouraged to meet with their professors during the professor's office hours. This is scheduled time set aside for our professors to meet with students. It's a great time to get one-on-one help, constructive feedback, and help with specific questions. Each professor's office hours will be posted in the course syllabus on Canvas.
SUU Career Center
Is your student looking to start their career or needing career guidance? 

They can attend the Virtual Student Job Fair on January 13th, from 2-7 pm.

Not sure what to expect at a job fair? Join us for the Virtual Career Fair Prep Night, January 12th, 5:30-6:30 pm via Zoom. Students will receive tips on what to expect, how to approach employers, and help with building their resume.
