(This is the LAST inspiring email about today's Calm Waters #GivingTuesdayNow fundraiser.)
GREAT NEWS!
Calm Waters has officially surpassed the $1,500 fundraising goal for today's unprecedented needs caused by COVID-19.

Some of today's gifts were made in memory of a deceased mother, father, son, daughter and grandchild. One gift was given in honor of an essential worker who is STILL separated from their loved ones. Other gifts were given to commemorate a missed graduation and a missed funeral.

Maybe you are one of the 25 generous humans who donated during #GivingTuesdayNow and surpassed the $1,500 goal and THANK YOU, so very much.

Each employee and volunteer of Calm Waters has their own unique grief stories and our leadership is no different.

Erin Engelke, the executive director, serves Calm Waters each day with a tender heart for the families in grief who come through our doors. Erin, pictured here with a precious ultrasound photo, gave today to honor her own grief journey, to remember the children she lost through miscarriage.
Updated Goal = $2,000
We have set a new goal of $2,000, (just $235 left!) and you can still help Calm Waters by making a gift in honor or in memory of someone you love and so desperately miss connecting with because of pandemic restrictions.

Let's be honest. Grief does not go away in a crisis, and it certainly has not gone away during COVID-19.

Your gift, no mater the amount, will make a difference to those who feel isolated in grief.
