The program will provide interest-free loans of up to $40,000 to small businesses and not-for-profits whose revenues have been temporarily reduced and to help cover operating costs.

Are you a student aged 15 - 29 looking to start your own business this summer?
Summer Company Program
is for full-time students returning to education in the Fall. The program offers virtual business training, mentoring and a grant of up to $3,000.
This program remains available, however the program is pivoting the types of businesses allowed in the program due to COVID-19. Student businesses should not require direct interaction with anyone and must follow social distancing rules. Example of eligible business are online products, lawn care with electronic payment, online tutoring etc.

Starter Company Plus Grant Program
The Starter Company Plus program provides training, mentoring and an opportunity to apply for a grant of up to $5,000. This grant program is for 'market ready' businesses in Durham Region.
