U.S. Virgin Islands is the First American Destination to Woo Danish Travelers
The first American destination delegation to personally welcome Danish travelers back to the United States since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic is reporting a successful in-market experience, chock full of possibilities. On the heels of the U.S. Virgin Islands’ visit to Milan, Italy for the World Routes air development conference, the territory’s Commissioner of Tourism Joseph Boschulte and Assistant Commissioner, Marketing - Alani Henneman-Todman made the journey to meet with a range of Danish stakeholders as part of the department’s strategic goal to strengthen ties with the Scandinavian country. The USVI team met with tour operators, members of the media and other key partners in Copenhagen ahead of The White House’s lifting of COVID-19 travel restrictions for fully vaccinated European and other international visitors starting Nov. 8. Bryan Williams' Tip: Develop People Who Care
There are many things you can teach people - and caring is not one of them.

No matter how hard you try. No matter how you might plead; some people just don't care. Some people don't even care that they don't care (think about that for a minute).

This is why it is critical to hold on to those people who do care.

They care about doing things right the first time. They care about the team they are fortunate to be on. They care about the company they are a part of. They care about the experience their customers have. They care if the company is making money. They care about their role. They care enough to ask, "How can I help this team be even stronger?" They care about coming to work prepared to uplift (and not bring down) the team morale.

They. Just. Care. Period.
