Masks
Students ages 3 and older are required to wear a mask. Please send in a CLEAN mask each day. It is also recommended that your child has at least one extra mask in case one gets dirty.

Recess
Kindergarteners will go outside for recess weather permitting (20 degrees or above). Please dress your child accordingly. The children will be required to wear their masks for recess.

Kindergarten Breakfast & Lunch
We will start having breakfast for kindergarten on March 1. Students will be able to receive a Grab and Go breakfast to take to their room. If you would like to participate in the breakfast program please let your child’s teacher know. The hot lunch program will also start on March 1. You can find the lunch menu here in the upper right hand corner of the page. All students can receive a free lunch for the 2020-21 school year. Students will be required to order lunch in the morning. Teachers report lunch counts by 9:15 am.

Mrs. Schulte’s Counselor Corner

This month the kindergarten students learned about bullying. We read the book Be A Buddy, Not A Bully. We define bullying as mean and hurtful behavior that is on purpose, goes one way (vs. being mean and hurtful to each other), and is repeated. Students also learned about how to be a buddy: share, include others, give compliments, use kind words, stand up for each other, and help each other.

Lastly, students learned the EEC Rules Against Bullying: 1. We will not bully others 2. We will try to help students being bullied 3. We will include students who are easily left out 4. When someone we know is being bullied, we will tell an adult at home and an adult at school.
