GOOD FRIDAY
DOWNTOWN @ NOON

Pastor Rick plans to continue the tradition of carrying the cross in downtown Tampa at noon on Good Friday. But, this year is different. No crowds will gather. Nobody will be in costume. It will not be a reenactment. Instead it will be a poignant, quiet reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made for all of us at Calvary. And a time for prayer.

Joe Stevens, Ryan Martin, JT King, and Pastor Rick will gather on the 4 corners of Kennedy and Franklin. Each will carry a cross, and walk in opposite directions (North, South, East & West) for 30 minutes, and then turn around and return to the corner. They will be praying for Tampa Bay and the surrounding communities, asking God to draw all of us closer to Him, and to help us remember the sacrifice of Jesus and the love that God wants us all to share with others. They will pray for unity and peace, as well as deliverance from COVID-19. They will pray that God will give us wisdom to practice safety during this dangerous time and that the Tampa Bay community will bounce back stronger than ever. They will also pray for our First Responders and others on the front lines who risk their health and their lives to bring healing and to protect others.

Please set your alarm for noon tomorrow and join them in prayer. You can gather on zoom to pray collectively, or pray privately. Just pray.

GOOD FRIDAY MESSAGE
7 PM ONLINE

Pastor Rick will have a special message of hope for us, posted on our website on Friday at 7 PM.  Don't miss it!

SATURDAY
7 PM

LIVE WORSHIP
VIA ZOOM

Cliff and Grace Longcoy will play some beautiful music to prepare our hearts for Resurrection Sunday! Selections include " Shout Hosanna", "Waymaker", "Down to the River", "Because He Lives" and more.

Sharrill Cooper will share thoughts about the music.

We can all worship right along with them, LIVE via ZOOM.

The experience will be similar to a Facebook Live session. You will be muted during the live stream, so everyone will only hear the leaders. However, you can message using Zoom's chat feature. Feel free to share comments in the chat box during this time of worship.

Spread the word to your friends and family about this unique time of worship.

When it's time, just go to www.fantasticfirst.org and scroll to the zoom link.

The victory was won. Death was defeated. The dreaded virus cannot cancel Easter!

We are really going to miss being with you on Easter Sunday. We are putting together an awesome service for you to watch on the web starting at 7 AM.

SPOILER ALERT:  Pastor Rick has come to us the last couple of weeks from the heights of a tree, and even atop the church!  I won't be surprised if the message for "Resurrection Sunday" will be even loftier.  :-)  If you haven't seen those other services, check them out in the archives on www.FantasticFirst.org.

Exerpt from an email from Hillsborough County Commissioner Les Miller, Jr.

"Hillsborough County is extending FREE testing services to individuals with symptoms that meet the testing criteria established by the Department of Health and the CDC. NO HEALTH INSURANCE is required, and there is NO COST to you. If you have symptoms, you owe it to yourself and those you love to get tested now, get the care you need, and protect your family. If you or a family member are feeling sick with flu like symptoms such as coughing, fever, or shortness of breath, simply call the County's customer service line at (813) 272-5900 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. They will ask you a few simple questions to find out if you meet the requirements for testing. If you do, they will schedule you for an appointment."

In an effort to tighten security, Zoom now requires a password.  For our zoom room, the password is 368934.

We have also discovered that some people have had zoom issues on their Mac computers because of security settings on their computer. Information in this tutorial may be helpful for troubleshooting, or if you just want a better understanding of Zoom.

MARSHA GIBSON SENDS A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!

I wish you could have heard her voice when she was telling me how grateful she is for the food, cards, calls, and prayers, that were lavished on her during her recent medical procedure. She said the food lasted for days and was SOOO delicious!

It all meant so much to her.

Thank you.

HOW ARE YOU?   I appreciate those of you who have emailed or called to tell us that you're okay. Keep those emails coming!

If you need prayer, you can post that at www.fantasticfirst.org/prayer   You can choose whether to post it on the web OR NOT, and whether to do so anonymously.  If you include your email address, you will be notified every time someone clicks that they prayed for you.
