The Path Forward for Actionable, Interoperable Data to Improve Health
The topic of Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) data has evolved considerably over the last few years, and even gained in importance during the current pandemic. While many in the industry now have a general understanding of what SDoH data is, this session will explore current and future pathways for collecting, standardizing, sharing and analyzing the impact of that data on individual and population health.
Our speaker, Evelyn Gallego, Founder & CEO at EMI Advisors LLC, and SIREN/ HL7/Gravity Project Program Manager, will provide an overview of HL7's Gravity Project and discuss the project’s roadmap and achievements toward making SDoH data interoperable. The Gravity Project’s mission is to create and maintain a consensus-building community to expand available SDoH core data for interoperability and accelerate standards-based information exchange by using HL7® FHIR®.
