Thank you for joining us at the FPF Spring Social

Hello Friends of the Forever Parks Foundation,

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to support the FPF Spring Social on Saturday, May 1st. Despite the gloomy weather, we had a ton of fun under the pavilion "planting the seeds" for Pearland's first all inclusive playground.
The crowd viewed the preliminary designs for the playground to be built on site at the Sports Complex at Shadow Creek Ranch. Our partners from Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration and Lonestar Recreation were on hand to answer questions; feedback was overwhelmingly positive with everyone excited about the unique equipment and connection to the local Pearscape.
Attendees enjoyed charcuterie from The Butcher, The Baker, The Cheeseboard Maker, cupcakes from Smallcakes Pearland Parkway and drinks served from The Traveling Spirit Bar. Kids of all abilities enjoyed the "bubble bar" and planting flowers to take home. Crystal Marsh Photography was on hand capturing images of all of the action. Follow the link to see the beautiful images; digital files can be purchased for download with all proceeds donated to supporting the playground project.
We appreciate our local elected officials, Representative Ed Thompson, Pearland Mayor Kevin Cole, and Council members, Adrian Hernandez and Alex Kamkar, stopping by to show their support. Mayor Kevin Cole also shared the significant impact the future playground would have on his own family. Tejas Imagery and Media Services captured all of his speaking remarks on video, so click here to hear more!
Now, the real work begins! It will require our whole community working to raise the funds to bring this playground to life by next year. If you weren’t able to make it, please download the sponsorship packet from our website. There are opportunities at all levels for donors to be recognized, including permanently at the site of the playground! Consider your network and any potential employee matching programs who may be interested in sponsoring. Click the link at the bottom of this message to donate online or checks can also be sent to The Forever Parks Foundation, 4141 Bailey Road, Pearland, TX 77584.

We were excited to learn at the event that our generous AYLUS volunteers were donating the proceeds from their spring seedling sale to the playground! Thank you AYLUS!
A very special thank you to Ashley Valentine Goodier who donated her time and talent to planning and executing the event.

Continue to stay safe and stay well and we hope to see you on the trails soon!
