Ban
Conversion Therapy. This is the use of psychological and/or spiritual intervention to try to change a person's sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
Every message helps to set this standard and Calgary non-residents are also encouraged to show their support, as all voices from across Canada matter.
These changes will forbid conversion therapy practices and establish fines against persons and businesses who offer them in the City of Calgary. Those who continue will face financial or business consequences. Currently more than 10 Calgary churches are running conversion therapy programs and we don’t want them to move west. Please attend the public debate during this council meeting. Let’s show our rainbow colours!

How can this change how we view one another, in all of our embodied and cultural diversity; What does this mean in the world we live in? How can this change how we view one another, in all of our embodied and cultural diversity; What does this mean in the world we live in?"
Something a bit different:
Stoney Nakoda language scholar Trent Fox, of Morley, has featured 12 Indigenous core values with traditional land photos in his just-published set of three posters. Trent is only a few months away from completing his PhD at the University of Calgary’s Werklund School of Education specializing in: “Preserving a Language, Preserving a Culture”. The images are stunning, the words full of wisdom and grace. For copies of posters, contact Trent: trentspiritfox@gmail.com
