Dear Presbytery Family,

Greetings from the Presbytery Coordinating Council. Grace and peace be with you in these days of staying connected in the church as we stay physically separated. In our online services across the presbytery this Sunday, we are sharing the good news that Jesus Christ is risen and that nothing can separate us from God's redeeming love!

At the request of the Coordinating Council, Pastor Joe Albright of Geneva Presbyterian Church has recorded an Easter reflection that you can view here . We have compiled resources of online church services on our website, accessed at this link . Many of these congregations are hosting other events, such as Bible studies and fellowship times, as noted on their websites and Facebook pages. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has recorded a national Easter service ( view here at any time).

We care about you and want you to know that leaders in the presbytery are ready to support you, talk over concerns, and respond to your needs. If you need help please call. Contact information for real people, who really care about you, is listed here - Presbytery Contact People

The Presbytery website is a very good portal for many other spiritual, financial, and liturgical resources.

  • Here is a link to the current and comprehensive COVID-19 information posted on our website, which is www.staugpres.org.

  • Information from the Board of Pensions about Pastor's Participation Dues relief and plan deferments for other employees. (i.e. Churches under 300 members with a single pastor enrolled in the medical plan may be eligible to have dues waived, with no change to benefits).

  • Webinar Recording: Critical decisions for COVID-19 as a Church Employer. Organized by Suzi Lemen, Administrative Committee chairperson, and originally broadcast on Monday, April 6th.

More updates and information will be shared as we move forward in faith together. We continue to pray with Almighty God for our world’s health and wholeness and that the hope and compassion of our response is faithful to Christ during this Easter season and beyond.

May the Lord’s grace and peace abide with you,

Diane Wilson, Chair of Coordinating Council
