Start Your Week with Crossroads
March 1, 2021
Crossroads provides resources to support your spiritual growth throughout the week and offers you opportunities to connect to a warm, welcoming, and affirming community.
Feel free to share any of the resources with family and friends!
Holy Vessels: A Lenten Season of Recovery
Each Sunday during Lent we are focusing on ways to help you recover and renew after the challenging year we've experienced. We will witness Jesus' solidarity with those who suffer and seek healing practices for mind, body and spirit, both personal and communal, creating beauty from that which feels broken.

To accompany the Lenten worship series, we have special Lenten bags available to be picked up at Crossroads. If you are unable to pick up your bag at the church, please email Susan Yantis and we will arrange to have one mailed or delivered to you.

We have also prepared a Lenten Reflection Guide to go along with the messages each week and a Prayer A Day Calendar to help inspire you every day until Easter.

If you missed yesterday's service, you can watch it here.
Small Group Reflection Guide
We designed a special small group reflection guide for Sunday's message. If you are not part of a small group, you can share these reflections with a friend, do them as a couple, or as a family with older children and teens. Or you can spend time going through the reflections by yourself.

To get connected to a small group, email Deborah Michel.
SERVE Opportunity
Since the beginning of 2021 and throughout Lent, Crossroads’ SERVE focus will continue to be on food insecurity. Collecting for the Round Hill food pantry is ongoing and very much appreciated by our neighbors in Western Loudoun County. For details on how you can help, click here.
During Lent, we are once again providing School Break Bundles for needy families at Payne Elementary in Southeast DC and our ESL families Loudoun County. By providing the food items listed here, or donating $30.00 to School Break Bundles, you will be helping those students at risk of going without food during Spring Break. Our goal is to provide 80 Bundles. Food Items can be dropped off at Crossroads Entrance 1 anytime during the week on or before April 11th. Monetary donations should be marked School Break Bundles and can be made online or mailed to Crossroads. To find out how you can get involved, contact Kathy MacKrell at
Crossroads Kids are extending their love and assistance even further. By collecting change during Lent, they will be supporting children and families in Guatemala and Uganda. The banks for the coins can be found in the Children’s Lenten Bags. The bags can be picked up at Crossroads Entrance 1 any time. For details contact Jill Wiggins at jwiggins@crossroadsnova.org.
