AMY HOBBS and a COOL CAREER
Amy Hobbs loves her position as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Occupational Health & Wellness Services, an essential part of VCUHealth Community Memorial Hospital. She advocates health and wellness with the enthusiasm of one
who truly believes in her work.
As a Greensville County native, attending Southside Virginia Community College was a natural decision, and it turned into a family affair. Her father, an SVCC employee, had previously been a student, and her younger sister and brother followed in her footsteps. Amy speaks highly of her SVCC experience, “The SVCC instructors were wonderful and actually knew me as a person.”
