New Software: AutoCAD for Mac
We have added a new software to the Digital Literacy Lab! You can now access AutoCAD for Mac on computer number 3 in the Lab. See see all of our resources available in the Digital Literacy Lab, go to https://www.tulsalibrary.org/programs-and-services/aep-foundation-digital-literacy-lab.
Introduction to App Development
Join us Saturday, February 29 at 9:30 a.m. at Central Library for an Introduction to App Development with XCode. Mikeal Vaughan from the Urban Coders Guild will cover the basics of creating iOS apps with XCode.

XCode is a visual-based tool that can be used to make mobile apps for Apple phones and tablets. It is available to use in the Digital Literacy Lab with your library card!
Digital Illustration for Beginners
Are you interested in digital illustration? It can be hard to know where to start. Join us Tuesday, February 18 at 6:30 p.m. for an Introduction to Digital Illustration with artist Lauren Quigley.

Lauren will cover the basics of digital illustration - including looking at what tools you need to get started!
Garageband 101
Join us Friday, February 7 at 2:30 p.m. to learn the basics of audio editing with Garageband. Garageband is a powerful tool you can use for editing a podcast, creating music, and more!
Photoshop Lab: Sketch Tools
Want to create a masterpiece in Photoshop, but don't know how? Photoshop is a powerful software. It can be hard to know where to start.

Join us Tuesday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Central Library as we cover the basics of Adobe Photoshop to sketch artwork.

We will use layers, brushes, and more in this Photoshop Lab. The Adobe Creative Suite is available for library customer use in the lab after attending an orientation.
InDesign 101
Join us Tuesday, February 4 at 6:30 p.m. to learn the basics of using Adobe InDesign. InDesign is a powerful tool you can use for creating flyers, magazine spreads, and more!
Digital Literacy Lab Orientations
Want to learn more about the American Electric Power Foundation Digital Literacy Lab? Come and see what we're about!

Join us at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12 or at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25 for a Digital Literacy Lab Orientation at Central Library.

After attending an Orientation, you gain access to our computers with the full Adobe Creative Suite, digitization equipment, and more!
If You Were a Video Game Character for Teens
From the Adobe Creative Suite and drawing tablets in the Digital Literacy Lab to the maker resources in our Maker Space, the library has a lot to offer creative teens!

Join us Monday, February 24 at 4:00 p.m. at Central Library for an hour of creating our own video game characters and 8-bit music to go with it.
DIY Digitization, February 25
Are you looking to save your family history in a more updated format? Learn how you can use our digitization equipment in the Digital Literacy Lab to archive your family history projects and more.

Join us Tuesday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Central Library for this monthly class. We do hands-on demonstrations of Digital Literacy Lab equipment and talk about how you can use our space to accomplish your digitization projects.
