COVID-19 Updates for NELA Connecticut Members / Virtual Town Hall Meeting Follow-Up
Earlier today, the NELA held a Virtual Town Hall Meeting for CT operators. On the call were Board Member and CT operator Charlie Wisniewski of Teddy’s Transportation System, Mark DiChiara of Gateway Limousine, Michael Lindsey of Lindsey Limousine, Kirk Englund of KEE Limousine & I'll Drive Livery, Rick Saks of Liberty Limousine, Board Members Joe Cardillo of AOT Global and Teale Smith of Maine Limousine Service, and NELA Executive Director Rick Szilagyi.
There was a lively discussion and exchange of information on evolving issues relative to COVID-19, including experiences with the Paycheck Protection Program, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, unemployment issues such as employees' refusal to work, deferred loan payments, and several others. Issues such as plastic barriers in vehicles and anti-viral cleaning products were also discussed.
