CRC Facility Closure Update
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response

Dear Members,
 
Thank you for being a member and for your support of our community. We care about you and want to support you and your family during this public health crisis. To say that these times are unprecedented and confusing is an understatement. We will do whatever we can to lessen the burden for you, your loved ones and our community as a whole.
 
Over the past 24 hours, the State of California and the County of Santa Clara have taken significant steps to keep the public safe and slow the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). There is now a six-county "Shelter in Place" order for our area, stating that as of 12:01am March 17, 2020, all non-essential services in our community must cease, at least until April 7, 2020.
 
As a result of these new developments, and to keep our members, employees and community safe, we were required to temporarily close the Centennial Recreation Center and Morgan Hill Aquatics Center effective March 17, 2020. We have also suspended all programming. We will re-open our facility as soon as possible once it is safe to do so and the restriction is lifted. We will also deep clean and disinfect our facilities prior to reopening.
During this challenging period, your CRC membership is needed more than ever. Your membership dues are a critical investment in helping us meet these evolving needs of our community and in keeping our staff employed. To help you stay healthy, active and informed; please access our virtual classes  (provided by the YMCA of Silicon Valley) and new, soon to come, family resources. Your ongoing membership will also help us provide these meaningful services to your community during these toughest of times.
 
We understand that some members bank accounts were charged as recently as March 15th. We want you to know that we will be crediting all payments toward your next month of membership dues and extending your membership by one month. 
  • If your bank draft occurs on the 1st of the month, your next draft will take place May 1, 2020. 
  • If your bank draft occurs on the 15th of the month, your next draft will take place on May 15, 2020.
  • If you have an annual membership, your membership will be extended by one month.
  • If you have signed up for recreation programming, you will be receiving information from those program supervisors on rescheduled classes, refunds, transfers and credits.

We encourage you to stay optimistic, support those around you, and continue to exercise on your own to continue the healthy lifestyle the CRC membership brings. We are hopeful that our collective efforts will help slow the spread of the virus, and that we can return to our normal operations as soon as possible.
