English Majors Convocation
The WKU English Department will host its 4th Annual English Majors Convocation from 3-4 p.m. Sept. 4. The virtual event will be held via Zoom this year, adhering to COVID-19 guidelines. Students and faculty will provide information about the many engagement opportunities for English majors and minors and other students interested in language, literature, and writing. The convocation will be followed by two opportunities for a safe, social-distanced meet-and-greet on the FAC lawn at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 4 and 4 p.m. Sept. 8.
Spotlight: Toppers Assist
Former Lady Toppers Basketball student-athlete Crystal Kelly has joined other former student-athletes to support the Toppers Assist Scholarship Fund.
WKU SPIRIT available online
In case you missed it: A new special edition of WKU SPIRIT is available online! Featuring expanded content, videos and other interactive features, this special online-only edition of WKU SPIRIT explores the many ways the University and our alumni rose to the challenge of helping others amid the COVID-19 pandemic. From virtual graduation celebrations to innovative teaching and learning, the WKU Family has remained flexible and nimble. You’ll also read first-hand accounts from students, as well as stories of inspiration from our Hilltoppers Who Help.
WKU SpiritFunder Campaign
As a new class begins and returning students continue their journey in a uniquely challenging time, let’s show these students the entire Hilltopper Family is here to support them as they follow their dreams. The Back to School SpiritFunder campaign ends at 11 p.m. Friday.
