What do you do in the winter evenings when you want to spend time together with friendly people? If it’s Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., come join us at Soup and Bread. From the 2nd Wednesday in January through Holy Week, island people gather for meals of soup and bread. Come alone; bring your family and friends; volunteer to bring a double batch of soup or two loaves of bread. Come and enjoy. All are welcome.

STILL NEEDED: FAMILY PHOTOS
|
|
We are looking to build a library of photos showcasing Door County families. We would like family pictures and pictures of families participating in local events and activities, having a discussion, or even just spending time in Door County nature. The pictures can be of the entire family unit or any combination of family members. Photos of your children sleeping, playing, eating, at any age are also appreciated. We have posts regarding different subjects on our website and currently use stock photos but would love to make the whole site very local.
The photos will be used on the doorcountyparents.com website but we will not list any personal information with the image. If you are submitting professional images we will need proof of the photographer's permission for use and their information to give proper credit.
That can be as simple as an email sent to you, forwarded to us, from the photographer, where they state they give permission for the photo(s) to be used on doorcountyparents.com. We will give credit to the photographer if they don't have a logo on the image already.
Please understand that submission of your photos by email to
rebecca@unitedwaydc.com
with subject line "pics for doorcountyparents.com" does not guarantee use but will act as a photo release and automatically grants permission to use the photos on our website. Again, we will not use your photos in any other capacity without prior permission. THANK YOU!
Please contact Rebecca Nicholson at 920-421-3145 with any questions.

"We had to completely remove electronics for a week and then severely limit screen time for our daughter as she was exhibiting almost every point made in this article. It took a few days to get passed the anger she had for being restricted but we are seeing the benefits."
