It is time to say a fond farewell to our current CAPT Board members:
President: Kristen Ecord
Vice President: Jillian Daghlian & Tiffany Giglio
Secretary: Jessica Bacon
Treasurer: Janise Foley
Chairperson of Programming: Erin Bosco
Chairperson of Membership: Jessica Murphy
They completed their two years and are ready to pass the reins to a new Board starting this summer. It has been an interesting time to be leading CAPT. They started back when the world shut down, voted into office through email because no one was meeting face-to-face in the beginning of a pandemic. They had no idea what the next two years would bring or what changes would have to be made, but they were up to the challenge and very dedicated to keeping CAPT running.
And here we are, two years later. Our President, Kristen Ecord, has done an amazing job with boundless energy and abundant ideas. She was the driving force our organization needed to get things done and we're so grateful to her. We are amazed by her and feel so lucky to have had her as president.
Under her guidance, everyone was able to contribute to a successful year. Tiffany Giglio was her second hand, helping get things done while juggling 5th grade activities. She has an amazing talent of getting lots of volunteers like no other can! Jillian Daghlian spearheaded the Scripts program and created baby baskets and retirement baskets for staff. Janise Foley has been up to her eyebrows in receipts and financial transactions. Her finance expertise kept projects moving on time and reimbursements back into pockets. Erin Bosco enhanced the classrooms with lots of programming throughout the year and took on the enormous Holiday Shop with its hours and hours of shopping, coordinating, pricing and event facilitating. Jessica Murphy brought in new CAPT members, raising our numbers tremendously from last year. Jessica Bacon recorded the monthly minutes and thought that wasn't enough, so added in weekly newsletters and ran Penny Wars. There is no way this column could cover everything that this group contributed, they have done so much more, big and small.
So much has gone into CAPT that has made this year as great as it could be! Thank you, ladies, for your hard work and dedication. These two years have seen challenges unlike any other, but you have risen to them and put so much back into the school. None of this could have happened without any of you.
Enjoy your break this summer after a job well done! We know we'll see you at CAPT meetings in the fall.
