Government of Alberta announces stronger public health measures
Alberta has entered a critical stage of the pandemic - the arrival of highly transmissible variants have put pressure on our health care system. Public health measures are required to protect the health system and reduce the rising spread of COVID-19 provincewide.
Additional restrictions come into effect for regions with high case rates, starting May 5. These restrictions will be in place for at least 3 weeks and will be extended if necessary.
These restrictions will be enforced with $2,000 fines.
Please be advised that all staff will be away from the office on May 24.
We hope everyone has a fantastic long weekend - stay safe!
Get creative with close-to-home activities like these:
- Get outside into your garden and tackle some yardwork. Nature is a great stress-reliever.
- Play active games, like soccer, with your family.
- Have a virtual dance party with friends over video chat.
- Stream a free yoga video. Now is an ideal time to perfect that warrior pose!
- If you're working from home, take some laps around the house on your breaks. Or have a walking phone conference.
- Make up a circuit workout with different activities in each room, like jumping jacks, burpees and lunges.
