OUR PARISH MISSION
Christ Church exists to show everyone God loves them unconditionally.
We do that by EXPERIENCING, EMBRACING, AND EXTENDING
God's love.

There are three ways to give to the mission of Christ Church:
you can mail in your pledge, give online, or text GIVE to (850) 403-6673.

Bridging the Gap
Due to Hurricane Sally and the flooding of the Washburn Center, our neighbors without homes are in great need of toiletries, including bars of soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, disposable razors, hand sanitizer, wash clothes, socks, and hand cream. Also, with cold weather here we are collecting blankets. Please click here for more information on how to help.

ONLINE COMPLINE
DURING ADVENT
Peace and Grace to you during this Advent Season. This Order of Compline is brought to you from Christ Church Pensacola. Settle in where you are at this moment and make yourself quiet, light a candle if you like...and breathe. Compline can be done right where you are — it is typically done right before going to sleep. It can be done in your home, backyard, favorite outdoor space or church. You can be by yourself or with others. The Order of Compline we are using is found in the Book of Common Prayer on page 127. Deacon Rachel Iversen invites you to join her during this season of Advent to find rest in this nightly service of Compline. The YouTube link can be found here.
MONTCLAIR ANGEL TREE & CLASS PARTIES
Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and donated to help with the Montclair class parties and Angel Tree this year! We were able to sponsor 50 student angels and the entire Montclair staff because of your generosity, and the children had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays in class. Thank you all for sharing the spirit of Christmas and making their holidays so special!

NEW ADULT CHRISTIAN FORMATION OFFERING
Jesus: Light of the World ~ Sundays, 9:00 AM
The study of Amy-Jill Levine's Advent study, Light of the Worldwill continue on Sundays, December 27 and January 3 at 9:00 AM by Zoom. This week's study will center on the birth of John the Baptist and for the first Sunday of 2021, Mary, the mother of Jesus, will be the topic. Professor Levine offers a very insightful look at the good news Luke was trying to convey to those who first heard his gospel and for us today who long for some good news in the present turbulent world. Dick Hooper and David Starling are facilitating. Join the dialogue through the ZOOM link available in the Saturday announcements. Please click here for more information.
