GFWC Georgia North West Spring District Meeting

Ladies,

Please accept this email as your official Call and invitation to our North West Spring District Meeting.  All club members are invited to join us on March 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom.  Bring your coffee, wear your PJs if you want, and check in early so we can chat a little bit while Faye, our Credentials Chairman, records our attendance for her credentials report.

I am extremely excited to report that we will have a few special guest speakers attend this  meeting.  Since March is Women's History Month, Tina Daniel, former GFWC Georgia President will bring greetings as 125th Anniversary History Chair.  She will also discuss the Georgia Festival of Trees and tell us how we can help make this event a huge success.   All proceeds raised from the Festival of Trees will benefit Wellspring Living, and we are fortunate to have the Development Director of Wellspring Living, Sarah Richardson join us.   Wellspring Living is a non-profit organization that provides domestic sex trafficking victims and those at risk with specialized recovery services through residential and community-based programs. Sarah will share Wellspring's mission and how their programs provide transformative care through therapeutic services, education, life skills, and personal and professional development.  Please visit:  https://wellspringliving.org and https://www.gafestivaloftrees.org to learn more about these wonderful nonprofits.

In addition to the above, we will host our annual Memorial Ceremony to honor those who are no longer with us and we will host our Annual Awards Presentation which will recognize our clubs for their outstanding work and impact during  2020.  You don't want to miss this meeting.  Please know that we are attempting to limit live reports and will attach all chairman reports to our minutes for your reference.

Club Presidents, please make sure you notify and/or mail the Call to members who currently do not receive emails.  If they would like to attend, please register them online or email me.  Also please make sure to appoint your delegates - we will need to vote on our Proposed Budget for 2021-2022.

Many thanks to our Hostess Clubs, Atlanta Woman's Club, Buchanan Woman's Club, and North Side Woman's Club for their willingness to help us move forward.

I look forward to zooming with you.
