Join us for worship this Sunday, August 16 at 10:25 am on Facebook Live. You do not have to have an account to join us. The video will go live on the church's public Facebook group. If you do not have a Facebook account, a message will pop up asking if you wish to join. You may click, "not now" at the bottom of that message and it will go away. You may then enjoy the video as it plays live. Last week's service is available at the link below.
What an incredible joy it was to join with our families for last week’s “Blessing of the Backpacks” and to offer our little ones the love, support, and prayers of our entire church family as they embark on a new school year that's set to begin in just a few short weeks! We so enjoyed seeing the bright and smiling faces of our kiddos, and we are anxious to see a few more in the weeks to come! Therefore, we have elected to extend our “Blessing of the Backpacks” efforts until the new school year resumes. In conjunction with FP2 (Front Porches/Friendly Pastors), Barrett, Ann, and David will continue visitations in the coming weeks to greet you and wish all our kiddos the very best as they start their new year. If you are interested in having us stop by, please contact the church office.
The Adult Faith Formation and the Worship Ministry Teams have teamed up to offer two weekly devotions throughout the summer. Devotions are written by members of our church family and emailed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our prayer is that they will bring you hope and inspiration as we face the challenges of these uncertain times.
Bibles & Brews continues next Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:00 pm via Zoom! All you need is a Bible, a scripture passage to share about the topic, and an electronic device. Next week's conversation is about "Commitment". Contact David Randolph if interested, and as always, all are welcome!
Theological Thursdays concludes TODAY from Noon to 1:00 pm via Zoom! All are welcome to join this congregational Bible study about topics picked ahead by the group! Today's final class is about "Predestination" and the scriptures of study comes from "Colossians 1:9-23 and Ephesians 2:1-10". Please contact any of the pastors if you would like to participate.
UKirk Ole Miss is looking for weekly meal providers. Due to COVID-19, of course this semester is looking different, but UKirk is still committed to caring for their students, including through food! For more information, check out ukirkolemiss.org/tuesday-meals, and feel free to email Allison Wehrung ([email protected]) with any questions.
As our church family continues ministering during this season of social isolation, please continue to remember your faithful giving to our church. The ministry of FPC continues to make an impact within our congregation and throughout our community. Bible studies and various small group meetings continue online to enrich our lives through the sharing of scripture; local missional activities continue to care for others like More Than A Meal and Love Packs; partners in mission, like Interfaith Compassion, the pantry, Doors of Hope and more, continue their important work as well and we help make that possible.

There are a variety of ways you can give:

If you need help with any specific ways to give, please contact Frances Saralvarez at [email protected].
The Pantry has a new PayPal link to allow you to make donations more efficiently in this season of social distancing. As you can imagine the longer this situation lasts, the greater the need at the Pantry. Make your donation at: http://paypal.me/pantryoxfordms
The FPC prayer chain is ready if you or someone you know is in need. Please contact Carlisle Wood at [email protected] or 662-832-8606.
All requests are held in strict confidence.
