Breed please read below for important information regarding the WORKERS AND FAMILIES FIRST PAID SICK LEAVE PROGRAM Dear Community Partner: Earlier this month I announced measures to provide financial relief to San Francisco businesses and their employees, including the new San Francisco  Workers and Families First Paid Sick Leave Program . The program includes $10 million in funding to support businesses and nonprofits to provide additional paid sick leave to employees, over and above their existing policies. The goal of the program is to reduce short and long-term economic impacts on San Francisco businesses and their employees caused by COVID-19. Apply Here Within 24 hours of the application being published late last Thursday, more than 100 San Francisco businesses had submitted pre-approval applications amounting to $1.6M, and by the close of business on Monday, the number had more than doubled to over 260 applications requesting more than $3.5M in support. All San Francisco businesses are eligible, with up to 20% of funds reserved for small businesses with 50 or fewer employees.
