The City of Miami Beach has extended its State of Emergency Declaration and Emergency Measures through April 28, 2021.

COVID-19 Updates

Miami Beach Vaccination Site
The walk-up COVID-19 testing site, located on 17 Street and Convention Center Drive, will be converted into a COVID-19 vaccination site, effective tomorrow, April 24 by the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management.
 
The site will operate seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., administering 250 Pfizer vaccines per day to Florida residents. 
 
No appointment necessary for first dose, appointments for second dose will be scheduled immediately following the first dose.
COVID-19 Pop-Up Vaccine Sites
Commissioner David Richardson will host a series of COVID-19 pop-up vaccine sites on Miami Beach at:

North Shore Park & Youth Center: 9 AM - 7 PM (or until vaccines run out)
501 72 Street, Miami Beach, FL
  • Saturday, April 24
  • Sunday, April 25

South Shore Community Center: 9 AM - 7 PM (or until vaccines run out)
833 6 Street, Miami Beach, FL
  • Monday, April 26

Please note this is for the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine only. All individuals 18 years and older are eligible to receive the vaccine. Vaccines will be available for 16 and 17 year olds, if parent is present to give consent and must provide proof of age with an official form of identification. Everyone must demonstrate proof of residency.
COVID-19 Vaccines
Miami-Dade County continues to work with hospitals and health care partners to vaccinate members of our community against COVID-19 as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Appointments can be made at miamidade.gov/vaccine. Spanish speakers can visit miamidade.gov/vacuna. Information is available on federal, state and other vaccination sites (CVS Health, Publix, Walmart, Winn-Dixie and Fresco y Mas, etc) on this website as well.

COVID-19 Testing
Drive-thru COVID-19 testing continues on 17 Street and Convention Center Drive.

The drive-thru testing is being offered by Nomi Health and is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Testing is done by appointment only and results will be provided by email or text within 24 hours. Sunday Funday on Lincoln Road
South Florida's favorite brands in food, fitness, and flowers unite together for one epic Sunday Funday on Lincoln Road. This coming Sunday, April 25, many of the top brands that have taken up permanent and temporary residence on Lincoln Road gather for a series of special events catering to every interest and satisfying any craving.

South Beach Wine & Food Festival Artisan Market on Lincoln Road: For the fourth and final installment of the Food Network & Cooking Channel’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival Artisan Market on Lincoln Road series, which aims to support small local culinary businesses affected by the pandemic by featuring a rotating roster of amazing eats from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. along Lincoln Road and Michigan Avenue.

Fairchild Garden Hosts Orchid Tour Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden: Renowned for its world-class collection of tropical plants, recently reimagined Lincoln Road as a beautiful botanical garden. Among the many notable and exotic plantings found on Lincoln Road are more than 1,250 orchids. For one day only, Fairchild Garden’s director, Dr. Carl Lewis and their Orchid Biologist, Dr. Jason Downing, will offer visitors a complimentary 45-minute guided tour. The eight-block stroll begins at 11 a.m. on the 1100 block of Lincoln Road.

Lincoln Road Farmer’s Market: A Miami Beach institution, the weekly Sunday Farmer’s Market on Lincoln Road is known for its wide assortment of vendors featuring fruits, vegetables, fresh cut flowers, plants and many other items. The Farmer’s Market can be found every Sunday, year-round between Washington Avenue and Meridien Avenue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Complimentary Warrior Flow Yoga: Lincoln Road partnered with Warrior Flow’s Adrian Molina, one of the top yoga instructors in our community, to offer two complimentary yoga classes every Sunday to South Florida residents. Classes take place at the 1111 Lincoln Road parking garage, 3rd floor, and begin at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Registration is required to ensure social distancing.

Musical Performances by Nicole Yarling and Lindsey Blair: Every Sunday, Lincoln Road invites local musicians to play for diners and shoppers along the Euclid Oval. This Sunday, Nicole Yarling, Jazz Hero award-winner and multi-genre vocalist, violin and fiddle player, as well as Lindsey Blair, electric guitarist and Miami new times Jazz Musician of the Year, will serenade pedestrians from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bass Family Day and Concert
On Sunday, April 25, join The Bass for an in-person or virtual Family Day experience from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m! Make a series of 3D sculptures outside in Collins Park, inspired by the artwork in the What Remains exhibition. At-home participants will create a found object 3D artwork using materials from nature. The virtual art-making activity will be posted to the The Bass' YouTube channel on April 25 at 12 p.m. 

Following Family Day activities, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., celebrate PRIDE with live music in Collins Park by DJ Adora, Karina Iglesias and Robbie Elias. This event is free and open to the public, and will also be live-streamed online to view virtually from the comfort of your own home.
