At this time, the immediate health risk to the general public in the United States remains
low
.
We all have a role to play in keeping ourselves, our families, and communities safe. Remember to follow the 3 C's:
CLEAN hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds, disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, and avoid touching your
eyes, nose, and mouth;
COVER your cough and sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash; and,
CONTAIN germs by staying home if you are sick, except to receive medical care, and avoid close contact with people who are sick.
