BACC President's Message:
Be Innovative and Novel
|
BACC just hosted its first Virtual Coffee Break on Friday, March 27. We learned how resilient our people are. Members have accepted this current reality and they are adapting well to working from home. They accept the fact that the world may look different after this -- so, it's important to be innovative and novel!
We shared tips for effectively working from home, discussed that we might all be grieving for what could be the loss of how we worked before the virus, shared a schedule so your days don't run into each other, and agreed that right now, it's more important than ever to stay connected.
We are all using this time to educate ourselves and learn new skills. It's time to be innovative and novel and create new ways of doing business. We will continue to offer these Virtual Coffee Breaks, watch for updates and join us next week.

April Showers Bring
May Flowers - Life
Will Blossom Again
|
BACC has cleared up its April calendar, moving most events forward as we plan on safer times ahead. Many Ribbon Cutting events will still happen this summer!
Have you ever attended a Ribbon Cutting Photo Ceremony? These are important "life events" for a new business owner - starting a new business, expanding a business, renovating a business -- is truly realizing a dream. When you attend, you are sending a warm welcome and a wish for future success. The connection you make at that time is strong; one that the business owner deeply appreciates and remembers.
Continue to watch our newsletters and our website. It won't be long till things will blossom again.

All Networking Group Meetings Suspended
|
Right now our networking groups are not meeting at the BACC office or offsite through April 7. However, we have started Virtual Networking Meetings. If you have a group of close colleagues, reach out and connect virtually. We used the Zoom platform, but there is also GoToMeeting and Google Hang Outs.
In addition, while a small staff is working at their BACC workstations to keep you informed, our offices are currently closed.
