We are so grateful for your dedicated support and engagement in YWCA’s mission, and as a valued partner we want to share some exciting news with you.
We are thrilled to announce that YWCA Silicon Valley and YWCA San Francisco & Marin, after strategically combining, are now doing business under our new name: YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley.
Our collective strengths and 143 combined years of experience serving communities has created a powerhouse for good across four Bay Area counties. Although our name has changed, one thing has not: our dynamic and vital organization will continue to deliver the high-quality programs and services that you have come to know in Marin, San Francisco, Santa Clara, and San Mateo counties. We are inspired by our new name as we carry our critical work forward.
YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families and strengthen communities. Our mission imperative is more important now than ever before. We have an exciting future ahead and, together, and we are well-positioned to make even greater contributions to the communities that we serve.
