In the past few years, NGICP has grown significantly, and as a result, it was decided that the program should transition to an organization that does professional credentialing as its core business. So we are pleased to announce that Envirocert International (ECI) has been selected as the new home for NGICP effective immediately. ECI has been providing professional credentialing for over 40 years. They have an existing stormwater portfolio of six other professional credentials and one certificate program. This combination of experience and complementary credentials will provide added value to you as a stormwater professional. In addition, since ECI’s core business is credentialing, they have the experience and infrastructure to better serve your needs, particularly in these trying times. For more information about ECI, please visit https://envirocert.org.

I have attached a letter from Rob Anderson, the president of ECI, who will lead the transition and expansion of the program and is committed to maintaining the core values and mission of NGICP. While this will be a big transition, both Pallavi Raviprakash and Sarah Stallard will be joining ECI, which will allow for continuity as we transition the program to a new home. WEF will continue to promote the program and will work with ECI on opportunities for future collaboration around NGICP.

It has been a privilege working with you all these past few years. While I’m sad to see NGICP go, I’m confident ECI will be able to help you meet your professional goals.

As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
