STUDENT/ PARENT MEETING
Saturday, January 11 @ 2pm - 3pm

Come to our annual meeting to learn more about our school, the activities we provide and the opportunities our students can avail of, including the Apprentice Program to prepare them to become well-rounded performing artists, showcases at our yearly production, Imaginology at the OC Fairgrounds, Festival of Children at the South Coast and more, as well as get more informed regarding our Competition Team package.

SCHOLARSHIP AUDITION

Aerial Arts America is offering scholarship grants to fund tuition fee for aerial training at their approved vendor. Eligibility for audition includes, at least one and half years of continuous aerial training. The funds are valid only from January -December 2020. If accepted, AAA require the scholar to fulfill obligations to ascertain commitment and devotion to the circus discipline.

  • How can I be a part of the 12th Annual Spring production?
Enroll in our apprentice program, or buy a rehearsal package and maintain a monthly class package

  • When is the deadline to enroll?
We like to start rehearsals as early as now. Enrolment deadline is on Feb. 15, 2020.

  • What are the fees involved in being part of the production?
Aside from the apprentice contract or the recital package, we charge an annual production fee: :
Apprentice: $50./yr (Jan. Dec); or
Non-Apprentice: $65./ f (Jan. Dec);
*Costumes are not included and can either be purchased or rented.

PLACEMENT EXAMINATION
Dates: Jan 12 & 18 @ 2pm
 
Mandatory to all apprentices, this examination is also open to all students for free. This is an assessment procedure to assign the appropriate level our student belongs to. We have seven (7) levels: starting from Beginners to Professional level. It helps guide the student when signing-up for their class which ultimately provides maximum benefit to the student. Please email us your interest in taking this examination.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE EXAM?
  • Review your notebook/ record that contains all your lessons.
  • Review all the basic moves (see Whiteboard with list of basics)
  • Review fundamental originating moves (locks, straddle hooks, hip keys and inverted crochet leg wraps)
  • Discuss with any of our coaches about skills that you are having difficulty with
  • Pay attention to the proper grip, hand positions and form
  • Come to apprentice session to practice the execution and form
Wear proper attire so as not to distract you. No loose tops or exposed skin on the waistline, no shorts, no jewelry, no zippers and tie your hair, if long
