This is your source for weekly updates from Kim White, Principal during the COVID-19 campus closure and the implementation of the Diocesan remote/distance teaching and learning protocol.

It's a great day to be a Saint!
Goals Met This Week

Parent Feedback: This past week, we pushed out a parent feedback format via a Google Form. We have processed all of your suggestions for improvement and growth. Your feedback is forwarded to your child's teacher(s). You will be contacted by them directly to address your needs. Keep the "kudos" coming. We have been overwhelmed by your many kind words of support. They keep our community of educators motivated as we work to improve each day. Feedback is welcomed and ongoing-- You can access the feedback form by clicking on the button in this section (left).

Easier Access: We have worked very hard to make the remote teaching and learning processes more manageable for you and your children Today, I am introducing the parent landing/launching pad platforms with hyperlinks. This is one-stop for each grade level to access all of the lessons and links for the day. This eliminates looking through email clutter and your inbox to find resources, video conference links, etc. You can reach your "one-stop" classroom platform by clicking the button in this section (left).

Build Community: Last week's participation in virtual spirit days warmed our hearts! Please continue participating in our virtual Spirit Days. This brings our community together and brings positivity and connects our families working apart from one another. See this week's schedule in this section (left).
You Tube Is Working!!!
Thanks to our dedicated Educational Technology Coordinator, Mrs. Mullin, you can now access YouTube videos. Alert: If your child logs into YouTube with their school Gmail account, they will be limited to viewing videos assigned by their teacher. Otherwise, their access is only limited by any content filters you have in your home. Please check your child's browsing history regularly!

We Are Life Long Learners
In our commitment to ongoing development as educators and to improve remote student learning, our teachers and administrators will be participating in training this Wednesday, April 2. The training will begin at noon. Morning teaching schedules will not be affected; teachers will not have office hours that afternoon.

Quote of the Week:
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. Hope is one of those things that you can't buy, but that will be freely given to you if you ask. Hope is the one thing people cannot live without. Hope is a thing of beauty. -Matthew Kelly
Scripture of the Week:
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -Isaiah 41:30
Prayer of Week USCCB - COVID-19 Intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe:
In this time of need, all the faithful are invited to seek together the maternal intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe:
Virgin of Guadalupe,

Queen of the Angels and Mother of the Americas. We fly to you today as your beloved children. We ask you to intercede for us with your Son, as you did at the wedding in Cana.

Pray for us, loving Mother, and gain for our nation and world, and for all our families and loved ones, the protection of your holy angels, that we may be spared the worst of this illness.

For those already afflicted,we ask you to obtain the grace of healing and deliverance.Hear the cries of those who are vulnerable and fearful, wipe away their tears and help them to trust.

In this time of trial and testing, teach all of us in the Church to love one another and to be
patient and kind. Help us to bring the peace of Jesus to our land and to our hearts.

We come to you with confidence, knowing that you truly are our compassionate mother, health of the sick and cause of our joy.

Shelter us under the mantle of your protection, keep us in the embrace of your arms,
help us always to know the love of your Son, Jesus. Amen.
