Blood Drive at St. Luke's
On April 30, 2021, we will roll up our sleeves and partner with the American Red Cross to hold what we expect to be the first of many blood drives. The Red Cross has over 135 years of experience providing humanitarian aid including more than 75 years of supplying blood to those in need.
Each pint of blood we collect can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. What a great way to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country. We are very excited about the drive and I hope you are too.
If you have any questions, would like to reserve a time to donate blood, or would like to volunteer, please contact Jim Fulton. There are many ways you can help, but most importantly we hope you come out to donate.

Alpha is coming beginning April 7th and running thru June 16th.
Alpha is a place to explore the Christian faith with others. It’s a series of conversations focused on the questions of life, faith, and meaning.
This spring’s Alpha Course will be held online via Zoom, and now is the time to be thinking of those whom you would want to invite. We are also looking for people who would lead ‘Breakout Rooms’ during the meeting.
Click here to register. If you are interested or would like more information, contact Dan or Jim Fulton.

All part of the Body
We want to make the effort to keep each other connected and growing in fellowship, in our giftings and in our love of God and one another. Home Groups, Men's and Women's Groups are some of the ways in which we gather to encourage and pray for one another.
If you are currently part of an existing group, or wish to form a group, please contact Fr. Dan or Jim so we can create a list of groups currently meeting for those who are either looking to join a group or who are new among us, so they can receive everything the Lord has for them and be part of the abundant life the Lord has promised each of us.
Life Line Screening will be back to St. Luke’s again this year on Wednesday, March 17th. Pre-registration is required. Call 888-653-6450 or visit the Life Line website. Flyers with more information are also available on the St. Luke’s Welcome Board

YouTube Channel
St. Luke's has a YouTube channel. Go to YouTube.com and search for "St Luke's Church Akron." If you'd like to be notified when new content is available, go to the channel and click "subscribe." 2021
February Offering:$18,834
Needed monthly: $40,417
YTD Offering: $58,575
YTD Budget: $68,643

Baskets are provided in the front and back of the
sanctuary for your offering on Sunday morning.
We are continually grateful for your amazing generosity, especially during this challenging year and pray
for each of you each week.

St. Luke's receives 4 cents per pound for the clothing we collect.

We earned $131.12 for 2021 YTD donations.
The Clothing Shed
All the clothes you've been stashing in the corner of your spare room can now be brought to the Clothing Shed at the back of the church parking lot. With many of the thrift stores not accepting donations or having limited hours, it's a great place to donate gently used clothing and you'll be helping those in need, too!

Please tie the clothes into a bag (do not use boxes or put clothing in the shed un-bagged) and put in the slot to keep them safe and dry.
