Hello,

The College is following up on an email sent to you on Monday, March 16, recommending that kinesiologists suspend all non-essential kinesiology services until further notice.

Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health has now issued a memo to all regulated health professions, directing that all non-essential and elective services should be ceased or reduced to minimal levels, subject to allowable exceptions, until further notice.

The memo defines allowable exemptions and provides principles to consider when making decisions about the reduction or elimination of service. Read the memo .

We strongly encourage you to share and discuss this new directive from the Chief Medical Officer with your employer.

The College developed a series of FAQs to support kinesiologists in implementing this direction to reduce or eliminate service. View the FAQs .

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at info@coko.ca .

Sincerely,

Brenda Kritzer,
Registrar and CEO
