Dear WWf(a)C Community,

A great deal of learning and growing has happened in the last week, in so many facets of our lives. That includes our community's capacity to successfully hold virtual writing circles for current students and move forward with already scheduled Spring offerings that might be just the thing you need right now.

Many of us are seeking creative ways to have meaningful and enriching connections during this challenging time. Although it might not be the same as meeting in person, the feedback we're getting about virtual circles is positive.

"Seeing people's faces makes all the difference in times like these. It helps break up the isolation we're all feeling."

"We're all learning how to use the technology together so there's no pressure."

In addition to resuming all of our ongoing classes this week, we look forward to offering FREE VIRTUAL SAMPLERS for these upcoming six-week series: "Celebrating Our Struggles" and "Poetry: Truing Our Aim." We have a few spots left in this weekend's "Craft of Storytelling" monthly session. An 8-week Tuesday PM Core Class for Women begins on Tuesday, April 7 from 6:30-9 pm. All of these classes will be held virtually until we can resume classes in person.

More FREE upcoming Virtual Learning Sessions will allow you to decide if a virtual platform is a good fit for you. And if it's not, know that we will meet again in circle at 6906 Plainfield Road. Summer programming for youth and adults remains open for continuing registration. Information for all of these programs can be found on our website. Scholarship availability remains the same for virtual classes as in-person classes.

Keep washing your hands, keep taking care of yourself, and keep writing.

Gratefully,

Executive Director
