East Ohio Conference 2021
Bishop Tracy Malone and the East Ohio Conference Cabinet of The United Methodist Church have decided to relocate Annual Conference to Akron starting in 2021. This decision is part of their 2017 Strategic Vision to move the Conference to a more centralized location.

"While this decision makes us sad, we know that Lakeside and the East Ohio Conference have a deep connection," said Dan Dudley, Lakeside Chautauqua Acting President & CFO. "For 72 years, ordinations have taken place on the stage of Hoover Auditorium, and clergy members, along with their families, have taken part in the Lakeside Chautauqua experience. Lakeside will remain tied to the East Ohio Conference by our similar missions, and we anticipate continuing our relationship in new and different ways."

As we look to 2021, we plan to keep the community informed about how the East Ohio Conference's decision affects our Chautauqua programming season. Stay tuned for details.

Lakesiders Remembered
Lakeside formally remembers loved ones we have recently lost at our Memorial Day weekend Hoover Worship Service,

If a loved one has passed away during 2019-2020, download a Memorial Remembrance Form and return by Friday, April 17.
