A Phase 4 Guidelines Overview can be found on the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity website.

Phase 4 Guidelines include the following:
Restaurants and Bars
  • Indoor dining and drinking now permitted for parties of up to 10 people
  • Seated areas should be arranged so that tables allow for 6 feet between parties; impermeable barriers may be installed between booths which are less than 6 feet apart
Retail and Service Counter
  • Continue capacity limit of no more than 50% occupancy
Personal Care
  • Continue capacity limit of no more than 50% occupancy
Indoor/Outdoor Recreation
  • Reopening select indoor recreation facilities (e.g., bowling alleys, skating rinks); indoor playgrounds and trampoline parks should remain closed

IDPH will continue to closely monitor test positivity, ICU bed availability, and the number of people in the hospital with COVID-19. Should data show regions trending in the wrong direction, based on the established mitigation metrics, regions could once again find themselves in a higher tier with increased measures.

Guide to Small Business COVID-19 Emergency Loans
As part of an end-of-year pandemic relief package, Congress has passed several changes to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and created a “Second Draw” PPP for small businesses who have exhausted their initial loan. Other changes impact eligibility for initial PPP loans, the loan forgiveness process, and the tax treatment of PPP loans.
Congress has also made changes to other programs – including Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL Program), the Employee Retention Tax Credit, a Venue Grant program, and SBA loan programs –that will benefit small businesses. Click here to view everything small business owners need to know now.

Businesses that wish to remain relevant and profitable need to adapt to the shift in consumer behavior. Crafting a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) plan is imperative and second only to building a website in ‘getting your business online’.

11th Annual International Women's Day Forum: Business Powering a New Tomorrow
Friday, March 5 from 12 to 4 p.m.

2020 presented a host of unexpected challenges, threatening the progress the world has made in women’s empowerment. From education and healthcare to job security and childcare, women and girls around the globe have been disproportionately burdened by the social and economic impacts of COVID-19.
While the pandemic has deepened pre-existing inequities, it has also presented opportunities to reimagine systems, mobilize action, and accelerate momentum for a world that is equal, inclusive and resilient. As we recover and press forward in 2021, women and their allies are acting with courage, strength and perseverance to shape a future that works better for all.
Our 11th annual International Women’s Day Forum will highlight how the private sector, working with cross-sector partners, can narrow gender gaps in every aspect of society, redefine leadership, reconstruct workplaces, and drive equality of opportunity for women and girls as we navigate our recovery from the pandemic and beyond.
REGISTRATION WILL BE OPENING SOON.

Due to COVID-19, the Foundation has had to cancel or modify many programs. In order to continue to generate financial support with which to enrich and enhance the opportunities and educational experiences of Lincoln-Way High School District 210 students, the Foundation needs your help now more than ever. “We provided more than $23,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors in 2020 and with the support of the community, we hope to exceed that amount in 2021,” said Kennedy.

This event is free, so register today to be automatically entered into a $100 gift card raffle for those who register by noon on February 18, 2021.
